I’m comfortable working to timeframes, managing a team, adapting to changing schedules, and collaborating closely with performers, directors, and event managers. My cosmetic-grade kit is suitable for sensitive skin, cruelty free and durable for those high-energy shows. Hygiene and safety are always a priority and I carry full liability insurance as standard.

My first professional theatre job was in 2015 working at the New Zealand Opera as an assistant for Wigs Hair and Makeup(WHAM) and costume. I was immediately struck by the good-natured camaraderie of the company, which has profoundly influenced my approach in building rapport between cast and crew alike. I believe open and supportive communication is the backbone towards successfully achieving the overall creative vision and I love to see a team flourish and thrive in these often-chaotic environments.

Having worked on projects of varying scale in immersive productions, stage shows, and live events over the years, I’m confident recreating and delivering established designs, or working alongside producers and designers to establish new character aesthetics. The right makeup and costume, not only enhances the narrative, but allows both the audience and actors to believe in that world.
