BOOKING CONDITIONS:

All bookings and can be made via the booking request form above or email. I won't be able to quote for jobs over the phone. Bookings will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received. Please note, I will still be answering other requests until a deposit has been received. Attendance will be confirmed once full payment of booking cost has been received, this must be made at least 7 days prior to the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations must be received in writing to panda@paintedpeach.co.uk. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will be charged 75% of the agreed fee (minus travel) and cancellations made within 14 days of the event will be charged 100% of the agreed fee (minus travel, unless travel has been booked already). If the Client reschedules the event, the deposit may be applied to the new event date, pending Artists availability. In the unlikely circumstance that the Makeup Artist is unable to attend the event, either a stand in will be sent in their place and debriefed, or a refund issued.

TERMS, CONDITIONS & INFO:

All our products are cosmetic grade, non-toxic and hypo allergenic. Sponges are disinfected after each event for hygiene purposes and are never used on more than one face per event. All glitter used is certified biodegradable to minimise damage to the environment.

Products can be removed easily with warm soapy water or a makeup remover. Some products can be slightly more stubborn due to pigments, gels, latex or skin glues used and usually come off easily with a bit of oil (coconut, baby, olive, cooking all fine). I have been painting for 10 years and have not had any issues yet, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are an exception.

Artists will arrive within 30 minutes of the start time to allow time to set up. If earlier arrival is required, an additional charge will be added for our time. Please note mileage will be added as extra. Any bookings over 45 minutes travel time from artists location may incur a small additional charge to cover the additional time. Parking nearby should be provided by the client to allow ease of access when unloading wherever possible.

We have your safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to paint under certain conditions – please have a quick read of the examples below:

We will not paint anyone who is obviously unwell (runny nose/temperature/rash) or has any other visible skin complaint (eczema; chicken pox; cold sore; open wounds; eye infections etc).

We will not paint faces of anyone under 3 years of age. Our public liability does not cover anyone under the age of 3. The face paint manufacturers do not recommend paint for anyone below this age as their skin is just not ready and very young children can sometimes be overwhelmed by the results. We may paint a small design on hands or arms of children younger than 3 years of age but this will be at the discretion of the artist.

We will not paint anyone against their wishes (this may result in stopping painting before the final result if a person becomes uncomfortable or changes their mind). Please do not force your child to be painted if they really are uneasy or unwilling – face painting should be an enjoyable experience for both the child, parent and artist.

We are not liable and not present to look after your children so please make sure a parent or guardian is present when your children are being painted.

We can bring everything we need including table and chairs if required. All you need to provide is a well lit space for us to work in. We must be sheltered from any elements if the event is outdoors.

We carry Full Public Liability Insurance cover of up to £5m.

Risk assessments will be sent out if requested upon booking.
