You are welcome to call me to discuss your booking, but please note I will not be able to give you a quote over the phone as bookings, services and locations are all variables that effect the final quote.

All bookings and must be made via email to or through the booking request form above. Bookings will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received. Please note, I will still be answering other requests until a deposit has been received. Attendance will be confirmed once full payment of booking cost has been received, this must be made at least 7 days prior to the event.
Cancellations must be received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the event are not liable for a refund. All other refunds will be discussed and will vary depending on the circumstance and event. Loss of earnings and any prep will also need to be taken into consideration.
TERMS, CONDITIONS & INFO:
All our products are cosmetic grade, non-toxic and hypo allergenic. Sponges are single use and washed after each event for hygiene purposes. All glitter used is certified bio degradable from EcoStardust to minimise damage on the environment.
Products can be removed easily with warm soapy water or a makeup wipe. Some products can be slightly more stubborn due to pigments, gels, latex or skin glues used and usually come off easily with a bit of coconut oil. I have been painting for 8 years and have not had any issues yet, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are an exception.
We have your safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to paint under certain conditions – please have a quick read of the examples below:
We will not paint faces of anyone under 3 years of age. The face paint manufacturers do not recommend paint for anyone below this age as their skin is just not ready and very young children can sometimes be overwhelmed by the results. We may paint a small design on hands or arms of children younger than 3 years of age but this will be at the discretion of the face painter.
We will not paint anyone who is obviously unwell (runny nose/temperature/rash) or has any other visible skin complaint (eczema; chicken pox; cold sore; open wounds; eye infections etc).
We will not paint anyone against their wishes (this may result in stopping painting before the final result if a child becomes uncomfortable or changes their mind). Please do not force your child to be painted if they really are uneasy or unwilling – face painting should be an enjoyable experience for both the child, parent and artist.
We are not liable and not present to look after your children so please make sure a parent or guardian is present when your children are being painted.
We bring everything we need including table and chairs so all you need to provide is a well lit space for us to work in.
We carry Full Public Liability Insurance cover of up to £5m.
PAINTED PEACH - COVID-19 HYGIENE PRACTICE, for Events and Productions :
As we all know, the pandemic has had monumental effects on us all, particularly the events and beauty industries. We’ve updated a few procedures and will be taking extra precautions to ensure we at Painted Peach are reducing any risk of spreading the virus before, during and after each event.
As a professional face and body art service, Special FX and Prosthetic Makeup artist, hygiene has always been a crucial part of our practice. We have only ever used 1 sponge per face, wash brushes after every use and thoroughly cleaned our kit between each booking (as all professionals should).
Additional precautions we’ll be taking are as follows:
As one of the key symptoms of the virus is a high temperature, we will do a quick temperature scan on the forehead or wrist of anyone wanting to get painted. It's completely harmless, non-contact and takes approximately 2 seconds to complete. (It’s also quite comforting and helpful to know you/your guests don’t have one of the key symptoms!)
We will be recommending eye designs over full face designs so we can avoid painting too close to the nose or mouth area. For kids events, we will oblige where possible as long as there are no signs of illness (runny nose etc).
A mask will be worn by each artist throughout the event to protect guests and to follow any current government guidelines. (I did try doing a face paint with a 2m distance… It was funny, but not easy and probably not very safe!)
Wearing gloves is not particularly practical when painting, so I will be disinfecting my hands, brushes and paints between each face, as well as changing the water used to activate the paints. We only use biodegradable products where possible at Painted Peach, so please don’t be alarmed if the wipes/waste seems excessive, they’re only temporary.
As an extra precaution, I am willing to send off a Covid test in the week prior to your booking with the aim of helping your event and guests feel less cautious about having a MUA/face painter at the event/production. Please speak to me about this when booking if this is something you would like.
As cleaning materials between each face will take more time than it used to, we thank you for your cooperation, understanding, support and patience with our new working practice. It’s essential we follow certain hygiene routines to protect not just you and your guests, but also myself and any other artists working for Painted Peach so we may continue to operate as a business now that we are allowed again. Our rates include and reflect these new changes.
All bookings are being offered complimentary postponements if necessary.
